Minutes - Wheaton Bicycle Advisory Committee Subcommittee of the Environmental Improvement Commission October 21 2015, 7:00pm ​ruce Berenschot, Jerry Hoffman, Rita Nathanson, Bill Nieman, Karen Saad, Laurel Salvador In Attendance: B ​ancy moved to approve the minutes and Bruce seconded. The minutes are approved. Approval of Minutes: N ​ctober event went well. Hope to work with PTAs and City of Warrenville more for the next event. Walk/Bike to School: O ​ancy is working with the Wheaton Police Department to get the project approved. This project is on Bike Recycling: N hold until more information is available. Bike Safety Classes: L​ aurel is working with the Wheaton Park District to offer free classes again in the spring. Two classes will be offered. Planning for 2016: T​he committee continued discussions about PR and promoting safe bicycling. We reviewed the many events we sponsor/support and ideas for future activities.
