BOARD OF FIRE & POLICE COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES April 6, 2016 Call to Order and Roll Call At 5:00 p.m., a special meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was called to order by Chair Cannova. The meeting was held in the 2nd Floor Gamon, Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, Illinois. Upon roll call, the following were present: Chair Penni Cannova, Commissioner Kevin Illia, Commissioner Thomas Schreiber, and Commissioner Anne Wanzenberg. Also present were Fire Chief Schultz and Director of Human Resources Duguay. Closed Session – Fire Lieutenant Promotional Candidate Interviews At 5:05 p.m., Commissioner Illia moved and Commissioner Schreiber seconded to adjourn to closed session for Fire Lieutenant promotional candidate interviews [5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1)]. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Commissioner Illia Commissioner Schreiber Commissioner Wanzenberg Chair Cannova Nays: None Absent: Commissioner Dulaney Motion Carried Unanimously The Board returned to open session at 8:00 p.m. Commissioner Wanzenberg moved and Commissioner Illia seconded to approve the scores for the Fire Lieutenant Promotional interviews held on April 5, 2016 and April 6, 2016. Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Commissioner Wanzenberg Chair Cannova Commissioner Illia Commissioner Schreiber Nays: None Absent: Commissioner Dulaney Motion Carried Unanimously Adjournment Commissioner Schreiber moved and Commissioner Illia seconded that the special meeting be adjourned at 8:10 p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
