Board of Fire & Police Commissioners Regular Meeting Minutes May 31, 2017 Call to Order and Roll Call At 5:31 p.m. the regular meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was called to order by Chair Cannova. The meeting was held in the Gamon Room at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, Illinois. Upon roll call, the following were present: Chair Penni Cannova, Commissioner Kevin Illia, Commissioner Thomas Schreiber and Commissioner Anne Wanzenberg. Also present were Deputy Chief Murphy, and Director of Human Resources Schulz. Commissioner Ed Dulaney was absent. Public Comment None Approval of Minutes Commissioner Schreiber moved and Commissioner Illia seconded to approve the minutes of the April 19, 2017 regular meeting. The motion carried unanimously. Closed Session At 5:46, Commissioner Wanzenberg moved and Commissioner Illia seconded to go into Closed Session for the purpose of conducting Police Commander Promotional interviews. The motion carried unanimously. The Board returned to open session 8:31 p.m. Adjournment Commissioner Wanzenberg moved and Commissioner Illia seconded to adjourn the regular meeting at 8:37p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
