WHEATON BOARD OF FIRE & POLICE COMMISSIONERS MEETING MINUTES WHEATON CITY HALL, 303 w WESLEY STREET, WHEATON, ILLINOIS 60187 Wednesday, November 19, 2025 Open Meeting 5:00 p.m. I. Call to Order At 5:00 p.m., Chair ll|ia called to order the regular meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners. The meeting was held in the Conley Room at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. WeSIey St., Wheaton, lIlinois. Upon roll call, the foHowing were present: Chair llIia, Commissioner Sifnotis, Commissioner Vroman, Commissioner Cannova, and Commissioner Haines. Also present were Chief Youker, Deputy Chief Gabryel, Deputy Chief Dillenkoffer, Sergeant Sanchez, and HR Director Schulz. ll. Public Comment — None lll. Approval of Minutes Commissioner Vroman moved, and Commissioner Cannova seconded the motion to approve the meeting minutes of November 13, 2025 Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Chair lllia Commissioner Cannova Commissioner Sifnotis CommissionerVroman Commissioner Haines Nays: None The motion carried. IV. Old Business — None V. New Business — a. Receive End of Probation Reports — Officers Turney and Lolis Commissioner Cannova moved, and Commissioner Vroman seconded the motion to approve the End of Probation Reports for Officers Turney and Lolis. The motion passed unanimously. Vl. Closed Session a. Police Officer Candidate Interviews 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) At 5:03 p.m., Commissioner Cannova moved, and Commissioner Sifnotis seconded the motion to move into closed session for the purpose of interviewing Police Officer candidates.  Roll Call Vote: Ayes: Chair lllia Commissioner Cannova Commissioner Sifnotis Commissioner Vroman Commissioner Haines Nays: None The motion carried. At 7:54 p.m., Commissioner Vroman moved, and Commissioner Cannova seconded the motion to move out of closed session for the purpose of interviewing Police Officer candidates. The motion passed unanimously. VII. Adjournment At 7:55 p.m., Commissioner Vroman moved to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Haines seconded, and the motion passed unanimousiy.
