COMMUNITY RELATIONS COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES WHEATON CITY HALL, 303 W WESLEY STREET, WHEATON, ILLINOIS 60187 SpeciaIMeeting Monday, September 16, 2025 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM Conley Room, Wheaton City Hall I. Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM II. Roll Call In Person: David Sohmer, Kathy Bushong, Shauna Thorson, and Andrew McGady Absent: None III. Wheaton Block Party planning A. The sub-committee discussed Iogistics for the Wheaton Block Party, reported on progress, and divided up remaining day—of—event responsibilities among the group. The unanimous decision was made to provide lunch coupons to volunteers who are bringing antique and super cars since they are not receiving payment for their time and service. IV. Public Comment Two members of the community showed up to help plan logistics for the party: Julie Sohmer and Chad Thorson who is Emceeing the event. V.
