City of Wheaton Fine and Cultural Arts Comission City Hal May 23, 2018 Minutes Cal to Order President Mike Bock called the meeting to order at 6:’’ . Those in attendance: Sarah Antas, Tony Asta, Bil Austin, Mike Bock, Dee Hicks, Laurie Oberhelman. Kathy Young was absent 2._________Public Coment None 3. New Business A The agenda was aproved. Moved by Bil, seconded by Sarah The May 9 minutes were aproved. Moved by Bil, seconded by Mike 4. Old Business Golf Project: A. Artists are almost finished. We are loking for someone to supervise Thursday evening. Dee wil take keys to Kathy who said she would be available. We are secheduled to move bals on 5/31. Mike wil give us exact time. Sarah wil take photos of bals. The Comission wil meet on 5/31 to distribute smal golf bals at Park at 4:’’ C. Taste of Wheaton events are being finalized. D. Parade – USGA is maning a float. We stil haven ’t finalized our plans. E. The wining artist wil receive a private showing at Burning Bush. The rest of the artists wil be invited to show their wares at a showing in July of 2’19. F. Dee wil contact Alberta again to see if “women ’s ware” is available. G. Note Cards. And/or playing cards. Laurie is loking into costs, availability, etc. H. Bal hunt wil be activated in Memorial Park. The Comission wil wrap each bal in a baggie and attach a label explaining rules of game. I. Sign Authority designed a logo for our Comission free of charge. We didn’t aprove original design, however, they resubmitted and we al liked it. Meeting adjourned at 5:33 – next meeting 8/3’ 6:’’
