City of Wheaton Fine and Cultural Arts Commission City Hall May 30, 2018 Minutes 1. Call to Order President Mike Bock called the meeting to order at 6:12. Those in attendance: Tony Asta, Bill Austin, Mike Bock and Laurie Oberhelman. Sarah Antas, Dee Hicks, and Kathy Young were absent 2._________Public Comment None 3. New Business A. The agenda was approved. Moved by Mike, seconded by Bill. B. The May 23 minutes were approved. Moved by Bill, seconded by Mike . 4. Old Business Golf Project: Discussion regarding the Golf Ball Project  Unveiling scheduled for 5:30 on Thursday, May 31st at Memorial Park  Bill and Laura will hide golf balls on Thursday morning  Mike will be orchestrating the delivery of the golf balls on Thursday  Laurie will get the scorecards  Laurie will get the prizes for youth finding golf balls at Memorial Park  We sold 46 names….room for another 54.  Laurie will develop a form for the USGA booth for people to have their name on a golf ball  Laurie is working on Reception invitations  Laurie to pick up banner stands  We discussed graffiti guard  Dick Blicks donated items for the artist Meeting adjourned at 7:06.
