Fine & Cultural Arts Commission

February 26, 2019 I. Call to Order President Mike Bock called the meeting to order at 6:05. Those in attendance: Sarah Antas, Bill Austin, Mike Bock, Tony Asta, Laurie Swanson and Kathy Young. Absentees: Dee Hicks II. Agenda Item Kathy Young moved and Sarah Antas seconded the approval of the agenda. Motion carried. III. Agenda Item Meeting Minutes: Mike Bock moved and Laurie Swanson seconded the approval of the February 5th meeting minutes. Motion carried IV. Agenda Item Golf Ball Project: USGA will be working with Busch Plastics to pay for the freight charges to ship their ball to the USGA Museum. Bill Austin and Mike Bock will be delivering the ball to Busch Plastics on Friday, March 1st. V. Agenda Item Music in the Park: The band shell will now be available for the July 13th Motion made by Tony Asta and seconded by Bill Austin to pay the Park District $247.50 to have a Park District employee at the event. Motion carried. VI. Agenda item Wheaton Festival of Cultures: No Updates Adjournment: Kathy Young moved and Sarah Antas seconded to adjourn at 6:30. Motion carried Respectfully submitted Mike Bock
