15, September 2020 – Virtual Meeting I. Call to Order President Mike Bock called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m. Those present: Mike Bock, Dee Hicks, Laurie Swanson Oberhelman, Tony Asta, Sara Antas, and Kathy Young. II. Agenda Items: Mike Bock moved and Sara Antas seconded the approval of the agenda. Motion carried Agenda Item Laurie Swanson Oberhelman moved and Kathy Young seconded the approval of Minutes from September 9, 2020. Motion carried. Agenda Item  Window Painting: There are only two confirmed artists which leaves 28 windows to be assigned. Sara will contact St. Francis and COD, Tony will contact high schools, Dee will contact Wheaton Drama in search of artists. Tony will be contact person and advise artists of guidelines, collect signatures, review sketches by Sunday, September 20.  Laurie will update and send out the adult guidelines and high school student guidelines. Agenda Item: (no change) Fire Plug painting. Mike checked with Lombard Public Works Department and found that the project was in Villa Park. He will follow up. Agenda Item (no change) New commissioner. Mike has received two applicants and will send their resumes to Commission members. They have been invited to our regular commission meeting Tuesday September 22. Agenda Item (no change) Music in the Park was cancelled. There will be future discussion about this event including the renaming. Next virtual meeting Friday September 18 at 5:30 pm Adjournment Meeting adjourned at 5:32. Laurie moved and Sara seconded.
