I. Call to Order
President Lewis Achenbach called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m.
II. Roll Call
Those present: Mike Bock, Dee Hicks, Lewis Achenbach, Sarah Antas, Vittoria Clay, and Randy
King.. Absent: Lynette Zelis
Agenda:
Randy moved and Dee seconded the approval of the agenda. Motion carried.
III. Approval of Minutes:
Sarah moved and Randy seconded to accept March 25, 2025 minutes with typo alterations. Motion carried.
New Business:
None
Old Business:
Make Music – Forty performers have registered to perform. Registration will close Memorial Day. No one is paid a
stipend for performing. All is voluntary.
Mural project – Randy has been in contact with artist Peru who will continue design that extends to the end of the
wall…approximately 1300 square feet at an estimated cost of $30,000. Randy will keep the Council informed of
progress.
Grant :
Lewis is keeping up with requirements necessary to qualify.
Adjournment:
Mike moved and Randy seconded the meeting be adjourned at 6:50. Motion carried.

The purpose of the Fine and Cultural Arts Commission is to:
Increase citizen access to the arts by providing leadership, advocacy, and the support for art that enriches the
cultural vitality of our community.
Provide advice and work cooperatively with the city council to promote fine and cultural arts in the city.
Foster and promote an appreciation of fine arts within the city by enlisting and encouraging public and private
agencies, as well as the general public, to support art and cultural events within the city.
At the request of the City Council, review and make recommendations directly to the City Council for artworks
for public buildings and public spaces.
Assist in creating and maintaining a city-wide arts and culture webpage on the city website that includes links
to art-related organizations and individuals who advance art in the city.
