FOREIGN FIRE TAX BOARD MEETING September 7, 2016 CALLED TO ORDER 0903 Board Members Present: Chief Schultz, Lt. Hunecke, FF Baus, FF Igara, Lt. Cochran, FF Ruck (0916), FF Tabb (0923), Others present: Lt. Weiss (0916), Lt. Siemsen (0923), FF Renteria (0923) Old Minutes – The minutes were reviewed from the June meeting. Lt. Cochran motioned to approve the minutes, and FF Igara seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Treasurer’s Report – FF Ruck presented a treasurers report from July and August. Lt. Hunecke motioned to approve the report, and Lt. Cochran seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Public Comment - None Agenda Additions - Money transfer from CD account into checking account. FF Ruck motioned to move $15,000 from the CD account to the checking account, and FF Baus seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Old Business - Leather helmets - Lt. Hunecke emailed department personnel to see who would want a new leather helmet. He received about 25 yes votes. Lt. Cochran motioned to purchase new helmets for everyone that would want one, not to exceed $20,000. FF Ruck seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. New Business - Cabinetry – Lt. Hunecke – Lt. Hunecke motioned to approve the construction and delivery of cabinets for the laundry room at station 39, not to exceed $3,000. Lt. Cochran seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Fitness Reimbursements – Ruck – FF Ruck presented the names of 3 people that qualify and will be reimbursed for gym dues, pursuant to policy (FF Cox, FF Mellinger, Lt. Kitahata.)  Back packs – Ruck – FF Ruck presented embroidered backpacks to be used by duty personnel, for use in transporting personal and fire department equipment. FF Ruck will email all department personnel to determine the quantity needed. FF Ruck motioned to purchase these backpacks for department personnel not to exceed $5,000, which was seconded by Lt. Cochran. Yes votes – Chief Schultz, FF Baus, FF Igara, Lt. Cochran, FF Ruck, FF Tabb No votes – Lt. Hunecke The motion passed Good of the order - None Adjournment - 0942 - motioned by Lt.
