NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Wheaton City Council, acting as a hearing body, will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, to consider the following zoning application: Zoning Application #16-18. An application requesting approval of an annexation agreement for the property located at 25W630 Waldorth Court, subdivision of the property into two lots and a front yard setback variation to allow a setback off of Orchard Road of 40.4 feet (matching the setback of the home to the south at 25W625 Waldorth Court) in lieu of the required 75.81 feet for proposed lot 1. The property would be rezoned to the R-3 Residential District zoning classification and the existing house on proposed lot 2 would remain. The petition has been submitted by R. Lautz Construction, Inc., 25W581 Plamondon Road, Wheaton on behalf of the property owners, Steven and Janelle Howard. The subject property is legally described as: LOT 6 IN WALTER D. SANDER’S SECOND SUBDIVISION IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED MARCH 21, 1962 AS DOCUMENT R62-7995, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. P.I.N. 05-20-309-007; -008 The subject property is commonly known as 25W630 Waldorth Court, Wheaton, IL 60189. At the public hearing, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written comments may be submitted to the Mayor and City Council prior to or at the public hearing. Copies of both the pre-annexation petition and agreement are available for review in the office of the Director of Planning and Economic Development, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois during normal business hours.
