NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Wheaton City Council, acting as a hearing body, will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 22,
2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street,
Wheaton, Illinois, to consider the following zoning application:
Zoning Application #18-18. A petition for annexation of the property located at 1407 S. Gables
Boulevard to the City of Wheaton. The property would be rezoned to the R-3 Residential District zoning
classification. The existing single-family home would be demolished, and a new single-family house
would be constructed on the property that is connected to City water and sewer.
The petition has been submitted by Matthew Goodman, Rosanova & Whitaker Ltd., 127 Aurora Avenue,
Naperville, IL 60540 on behalf of the property owners, Joseph Brems and Laura Vozza, 1625 N.
Claremont, Unit 3, Chicago, IL 60647.
The subject property is legally described as:
LOT 3 OF PROPERTY OWNER’S DIVISION OF LOT 1 OF HADLEY ESTATES, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART
OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN,
ACCORDING TO THE PLAT OF PROPERTY OWNER’S DIVISION, RECORDED MAY 15, 1947, AS DOCUMENT
521041, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

The subject property is commonly known as 1407 S. Gables Boulevard, Wheaton, IL 60189.
At the public hearing, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written
comments may be submitted to the Mayor and City Council prior to or at the public hearing. Copies of
both the annexation petition and agreement are available for review in the office of the Director of
Planning and Economic Development, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois during normal business
hours.
