NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, to consider the following zoning application: Zoning Application #19-06. An application requesting a variation to Article 23.7.1e of the Wheaton Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction and use of a new monument sign on the property located at 300 S. West Street with a front yard setback of 0.0 feet in lieu of the required 15.0 feet. The application has been submitted by North Shore Sign Company, Inc., 1925 Industrial Drive, Libertyville, IL 60048 on behalf of the property owners, West Willow Family Dental and Central DuPage Orthodontics, 300 S. West Street, Wheaton, IL 60187. The subject property is legally described as: THAT PART OF LOT 6 OF COUNTY CLERK’S ASSESSMENT DIVISION OF THE SOUTHEAST ¼ OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, DESCRIBED BY BEGINNING ON THE WEST LINE OF WEST STREET AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 8 OF SAID DIVISION AND RUNNING THENCE SOUTH ALONG THE WEST LINE OF WEST STREET, 124.0 FEET; THENCE WESTERLY PARALLEL WITH THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 8, 165.0 FEET; THENCE NORTH PARALLEL WITH THE WEST LINE OF WEST STREET, 124.0 FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 8, THENCE EASTERLY ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 8, 165.0 TO THE PLACE OF BEGINNING, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. PIN: 05-17-411-019; -020 The subject property is commonly known as 300 S. West Street, Wheaton, IL 60187. At the public hearing, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written comments may be submitted to the Board prior to or at the public hearing.
