NOTICE OF PUBLIC INSPECTION AND PUBLIC HEARING ON CITY OF WHEATON PROPOSED CALENDAR YEAR 2024 BUDGET Notice is hereby given that the Calendar Year 2024 proposed annual budget for the City of Wheaton has been available, as of November 3, 2023, for public inspection, during normal business hours, in the Finance Department located on the first floor of Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois and on the City’s website at www.wheaton.il.us, pursuant to and in compliance with the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/8-2-9.9. Further, notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted by the Wheaton City Council on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers of Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, pursuant to said statute to consider said proposed annual budget for the City of Wheaton, after which hearing the proposed budget may be further revised and passed. At the aforesaid public hearing, all persons desiring to be heard in support or opposition to the proposed budget will be afforded an opportunity to submit their statements orally, in writing or both.
