NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 7:00
p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, in-

826 8140 1202, Passcode: 517642 to consider the following zoning application:
Zoning Application #24-10. An application requesting a variation to Article 3.4A.5c of the Wheaton
Zoning Ordinance to allow a two-story, 23.6 foot by 33.05 foot existing addition to remain (plus the
addition of proposed foundation walls) with a corner side yard setback (adjacent to Daly Road) of 16.8
feet in lieu of the required 23.3 feet, all on property commonly known as 1926 N. Summit Street,
Wheaton, IL 60187. The property is zoned R-3 Residential District.
The application has been submitted by the property owners, Jacob and Rebecca Cynamon-Murphy,
1926 N. Summit Street, Wheaton, IL 60187.
The subject property is legally described as:
THE EAST 184 FEET OF LOT 1 IN BLOCK 4 IN ARTHUR T. MCINTOSH AND COMPANY’S WHEATON FARMS,
BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 10 AND PART OF THE
SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10,
EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED MARCH 10,
1924 AS DOCUMENT 175034, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
