CORRECTED NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, in-person and via zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_heg4CA49TUatPj4zTw5ETA or dial (312) 626-6799, Meeting ID: 882 1957 6244, Passcode: 057264 to consider the following zoning application: Zoning Application #25-21. An application requesting a special use permit pursuant to Article 20.3 of the Wheaton Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction and use of a drive-thru service lane for the existing restaurant user at 1289 E. Butterfield Road. The property is zoned C-5 Planned Commercial District. The application has been submitted by Shreya Patel, 2045 Golfview Court, Wheaton, IL 60189 on behalf of the property owner, Briarbrook Commons LLC, 6898 Fieldstone Drive, Burr Ridge, IL 60527. The property that is the subject of the special use permit is legally described as: LOT 2 IN BRIARBROOK COMMONS DIVISION, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE SOUTH HALF OF SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED JUNE 17, 1976, AS DOCUMENT R76-38683, IN THE RECORDER’S OFFICE OF DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. P.I.N.: 05-27-317-024 The subject property is commonly known as 1289 E. Butterfield Road, Wheaton, IL 60189. At the public hearing, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written comments may be submitted to the Board prior to or at the public hearing.
