NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Wheaton City Council, acting as a hearing body, will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 13, 2026, at
7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois,
in-person and via zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_6CZDXOL8SAa7MCX7j7-VlQ or
dial (312) 626-6799, Meeting ID: 829 4643 6841, Passcode: 708470 to consider the following zoning
application:
Zoning Application #26-18. A petition for consideration of a pre-annexation agreement regarding the
property located at 25W021 Geneva Road, Wheaton, IL 60187. The property would be annexed to the City
of Wheaton and rezoned to the R-4 Residential District zoning classification, once it becomes contiguous to
the City limits. The pre-annexation agreement seeks to allow the subject property to connect to City of
Wheaton water.
The petition has been submitted by Jeffrey and Kimberly Andersen, 25W021 Geneva Road, Wheaton, IL
60187.
The subject property is legally described as:
LOT 3 IN WHEATON PARK TERRACE, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF
SECTION 8, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO
THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED OCTOBER 9, 1929 AS DOCUMENT 287630, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

The subject property is commonly known as 25W021 Geneva Road, Wheaton, IL 60187.
At the public hearing, anyone wishing to make a public statement will be encouraged to do so. Written
comments may be submitted to the Mayor and City Council prior to or at the public hearing. Copies of
both the annexation petition and agreement are available for review in the office of the Director of
Planning and Economic Development, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois during normal business
hours.
