Waterman, Building 200 Wichita Transit Van Maintenance Facility Conference Room Wichita, Kansas 67202 Agenda Item Time Description 1. 5:30 pm Call to Order Jack Brown, Chairperson 2. 5:31 pm Approve Previous Meeting Notes Jack Brown, Chairperson 3. 5:35 pm Public Comments 4. 5:45 pm Projects Updates Paul Gunzelman, Assistant City Engineer, will provide information for projects, including those listed below.  Hidden Lakes HOA low water bridge for a biking and walking.  9th Street – I-135 to Hillside 5. 6:00 pm Wichita Transit Director-Michael Tann This will be an opportunity for the board members to meet Mr. Michael Tann, Wichita Transit Director. 6. 6:15 pm Neighborhood Bike and Ped Circulation Scott Wadle, Senior Management Analyst, and Toole Design Group team member Greta Alquist and Ciara Schlichting will provide an update how the neighborhood selection input from the May meeting is being used to identify neighborhoods with a high demand for walking and bicycling, and to select two neighborhoods to pilot the neighborhood circulation planning toolkit. 7. 6:35 pm Senior Walking Routes Scott Wadle, Senior Management Analyst, and Toole Design Group team members Carol Kachadoorian and Katie Knapp de Orvañanos will provide an update on the proposed Senior Walking Routes focus areas and the analysis to identify them. The board will have an opportunity to identify the two focus areas where the walk audits will be conducted. 8. 7:00 pm Bicycle Counting Project Scott Wadle, Senior Management Analyst, and Toole Design Group team member Joe Fish will provide an update on this project. It will be an opportunity for the board to review and endorse both the proposed goals and objectives for the proposed City bicycle counting program. 9. 7:15 pm 2019 General Operating Budget Recommendations Scott Wadle, Senior Management Analyst, will provide information on the results of the prioritization of 2019 budget options to recommend to the City Council. Notice – City Council Members may attend this meeting. 10. 7:30 pm Bicycle and Pedestrian Crash Review National Best Practices Scott Wadle, Senior Management Analyst, will provide an update on best practices from other cities for reviewing bicycle and pedestrian crashes. This is a follow-up from board discussion on forming a safety review subcommittee during the May board meeting. 11. 7:35 pm Board Member Project Reports Barry Carroll, Secretary 12. 7:40 pm Announcements Barry Carroll, Secretary 13. 7:45 pm Closing Thoughts Barry Carroll, Secretary Notice – City Council Members may attend this meeting.
