DISTRICT I ADVISORY BOARD AGENDA September 9, 2013 6:30 p.m. Atwater Neighborhood City Hall, 2755 E. 19th ORDER OF BUSINESS Call to Order Approval of Agenda for September 9, 2013 Approval of Minutes for August 5, 2013 Public Agenda Board will hear public issues from individual citizens regarding City issues not scheduled on the agenda. Each presentation is limited to five minutes unless extended by the Board. 1. Agenda Items No items submitted. 2. Off Agenda Items Any individual present that did not request to speak on the public agenda prior to the meeting may speak at this time. Staff Reports 3. Fire Report Fire Department will provide information on activity in District 1 community. Recommended Action: Receive and file. 4. Police Report Police Department will provide information on activity in District 1 community. Recommended Action: Receive and file. New Business 5. CON2013-00014 Dale Miller, Planning Department will present information for a request for a special permit for the drilling of an oil or gas well and approval for a Conditional Use to permit the drilling of an oil or gas well. Recommended Action: Recommend approval of the conditional use permit based on the conditions listed in the staff report. 6. CON2013-00017 Dale Miller, Planning Department will present information on the request for a conditional use permit to allow a nightclub in the city generally located south of East Lincoln, east of South Ida (east of South Washington Ave) (1111 E. Lincoln). Recommended Action: Recommend approval of the conditional use permit based on the conditions listed in the staff report. 7. ZON2013-00019  District I Advisory Board Agenda September 9, 2013 Page 2 of 2 Dale Miller, Planning Department will present information on the zoning change request from Two- Family Residential to Limited Commercial on three lots generally located north of Central and west of Oliver. Recommended Action: Recommend approval of the conditional use permit based on the conditions listed in the staff report. 8. CON2013-00018 Dale Miller, Planning Department will present information on the request for a conditional use permit to allow a nightclub within 300 feet of residential zoning, in Limited Commercial zoning generally located west of Hydraulic and north of Skinner (1861 S. Hydraulic). Recommended Action: Recommend approval of the conditional use permit based on the conditions listed in the staff report. 9. Street Closures for Runs John D’Angelo, Division of Arts & Cultural Services will present information on the process for street closures for runs and the solutions they are exploring to improve this process. Recommended Action: Provide feedback. Board Agenda 10. Updates, Issues and Reports Opportunity is provided for the Council Member and the District Advisory Board Members to report any activities, events, or concerns in the neighborhoods and/or Council District.
