Public Agenda
Board will hear public issues from individual citizens regarding City issues not scheduled on the agenda. Each
presentation is limited to five minutes unless extended by the Board.

Staff Reports
3. Fire Report
Fire Department will provide information on activity in District 1 community.
Recommended Action: Receive and file.
4. Police Report
Police Department will provide information on activity in District 1 community.
Recommended Action: Receive and file.
New Business
5. Officer Involved Administrative and Criminal Investigations
Captain John Speer and Captain Brent Allred, WPD, will present information on administrative and criminal
investigations on employees when there is an alleged crime or policy violation.
Recommended Action: Review and discuss
6. ZON2013-00021
Dale Miller, Planning Department will present information on the zoning change request seeking LC Limited
Commercial (LC) zoning for two platted lots (Lots 11 and 12, Block 2, Crestview Lakes and addressed as 11 and
12 North Crestview Lakes Drive) located northwest of the intersection of East 21st Street North and North Oliver
Avenue.
Recommended Action: Recommend denial of the zone change request based on the findings listed in the
staff report.

7. ZON2013-00022
Dale Miller, Planning Department will present information on the zoning change request seeking LC Limited
Commercial (LC) zoning located on the east side of North Hillside Avenue, between 13th and 12th Streets North..
Current zoning is B Multi Family Residential.
Recommended Action: Planning staff recommends that the request for a LC zoning be APPROVED,
contingent on dedication of access control along Hillside Avenue as approved by the Traffic Engineer, dedication
of 20 feet street right-of-way along the subject properties Hillside Avenue frontage as approved by the Traffic
Engineer, and a covenant prohibiting access from the subject properties onto Holyoke Avenue.

Opportunity is provided for the Council Member and the District Advisory Board Members to report any
activities, events, or concerns in the neighborhoods and/or Council District.
Recommended Action: Receive and file.

Next meeting of DAB I will November 4, 2013, Atwater Neighborhood City Hall at 6:30 p.m.
