DISTRICT II ADVISORY BOARD AGENDA October 07, 2013 Fire Station #20 6:30 p.m. 2255 S. Greenwich ORDER OF BUSINESS Call to Order Approval of Minutes for September 09, 2013 Approval of Agenda for October 07, 2013 Public Agenda The public agenda allows members of the public to present issues not on the agenda to the Board. Each presentation is limited to five minutes unless extended by the Board. 1. Scheduled items No scheduled items Recommended Action: Receive and file. 2. Off Agenda items Any individual present that did not request to speak on the public agenda prior to the meeting may speak at this time. Recommended Action: Provide comments/ take appropriate action Staff Reports 3. Community Police Report Community Police Officers for beat areas in District II will report on specific concerns. Recommended Action: Receive and file 4. Fire Department Report Fire Department Staff for fire stations in District II will report on specific concerns. Recommended Action: Receive and file New Business 5. ZON2013-00023/ CUP2013-00031 Jess McNeely, Planning, will present on request for LC Limited Commercial zoning on TF-3 Two- Family and SF-5 Single Family Residential zoned property and a request for a minor amendment to DP-305, to allow expansion. Location: Generally located east of Woodland Boulevard, south of Kellogg Street, east of Mission Road on the north side of Orme Street. Recommendation: Based upon the information available prior to the public hearings Planning staff recommends the requests be APPROVED subject to re-platting the property within one year and subject to the conditions as listed in the staff report. 6. CUP2013-00030 Jess McNeely, Planning, will present on request to amend the Cross Town East Community Plan, CUP DP-82, to increase the height of an off-site sign from 30 feet to 50 feet located on Parcel 2. Location: Generally located on the southeast corner of the Kellogg Street and Webb Road intersection (9609 E. Kellogg). Recommendation: Based upon the information available prior to the public hearings Planning staff recommends the request be APPROVED subject to the conditions as listed in the staff report. 7. Officer Involved Administrative and Criminal Investigations Captain John Speer and Captain Brent Allred, WPD, will present information on administrative and criminal investigations on employees when there is an alleged crime or policy violation. Recommended Action: Review and discuss Board Agenda 8. Updates, Issues, and Reports Report on activities, events, or concerns in the neighborhoods and/or District II.  Vice Mayor Meitzner  DAB Members Recommended Action: Provide comments/ take appropriate action General Comments/ Announcements: Next Meeting: The next meeting for District Advisory Board II will be held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2013 at Fire Station, #20, located at 2255 S.
