Design Concept for west Pawnee Avenue, 119th St W to 135th St W: Pawnee Avenue, between 119th Street West and 135th Street West is a narrow, two-lane road section with no shoulders and ditches for drainage directly adjacent to the road. As traffic has increased with area development and Goddard school access, safety concerns have increased regarding vehicles potentially leaving the roadway with little to no room for recovery due to the ditches. While projected future traffic counts do not warrant added lane capacity, improvements to provide a safer travel way and possible future pedestrian access are needed at this time. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Based upon the information available staff recommends APPROVAL of the design concept. . OLD BUSINESS NONE BOARD AGENDA Updates, Issues, and Reports Opportunity is provided for the Council Member and District Advisory Board Members to report any activities, events, or concerns in the neighborhoods and/or Council District.
