DISTRICT V ADVISORY BOARD AGENDA December 03, 2012 Wichita Fire Station #21 6:30 p.m. 2110 N. 135th St. W. ORDER OF BUSINESS Welcome from Councilmember Jeff Longwell Call to Order Approval of Minutes for November 05, 2012 Approval of Agenda for December 03, 2012 Public Agenda The public agenda allows members of the public to present issues not on the agenda to the Board. Each presentation is limited to five minutes unless extended by the Board. 1. Scheduled items No scheduled items Recommended Action: Receive and file. 2. Off Agenda items Any individual present that did not request to speak on the public agenda prior to the meeting may speak at this time. Recommended Action: Provide comments/ take appropriate action Staff Reports 3. Community Police Report Community Police Officers for beat areas in District V will report on specific concerns. Recommendation/Actions: Receive and file 4. Fire Department Report Fire Department Staff for fire stations in District V will report on specific concerns. Recommendation/Actions: Receive and file  New Business 5. Improvement to 135th; Central to Maple Gary Janzen, City Engineer, Department of Public Works and Utilities, will present on the project design for improvements. Recommendation/Actions: It is recommended that the District Advisory Board recommend approval of the design concept. 6. Aquatic Master Plan Karen Holmes, Recreation Supervisor, Department of Park and Recreation, will present on the City of Wichita Aquatic Master Plan. Recommendation/Actions: Provide Comments. Board Agenda 7. Updates, Issues, and Reports Report on activities, events, or concerns in the neighborhoods and/or District V.
