DISTRICT V ADVISORY BOARD AGENDA February 24, 2014 Wichita Fire Station #21 6:30 p.m. 2110 N. 135th St. W. ORDER OF BUSINESS Welcome from Councilmember Jeff Longwell Call to Order Approval of Minutes for January 21, 2014 Approval of Agenda for February 24, 2014 Public Agenda The public agenda allows members of the public to present issues not on the agenda to the Board. Each presentation is limited to five minutes unless extended by the Board. 1. Scheduled items No scheduled items Recommended Action: Receive and file 2. Off Agenda items Any individual present that did not request to speak on the public agenda prior to the meeting may speak at this time. Recommended Action: Receive and file Staff Reports 3. Community Police Report Community Police Officers for beat areas in District V will report on specific concerns. Recommended Action: Receive and file 4. Fire Department Report Fire Department Staff for fire stations in District V will report on specific concerns. Recommended Action: Receive and file  New Business 5. OJ Watson Park Master Plan Brian Hill, Recreation Supervisor, Park and Recreation Department, will give an update on the Watson Park Master Plan. The primary objective of the O.J. Watson Park Master Plan is to achieve direct cost recovery of 100% by 2015, in order to be in compliance with the 2014- 2015 Adopted Budget. The goal of this process is a Master Plan that is adopted by the Wichita City Council that will guide operations and capital investments in the Park for the next 20 to 30 years. Recommended Action: Provide guidance on prioritization of capital improvements at O.J. Watson Park. Board Agenda 6.
