Woodland 6:30 p.m. Lounge Clubroom ORDER OF BUSINESS -- Call to Order -- Approval of Agenda -- Approval of Minutes for November 5, 2012 PUBLIC AGENDA This portion of the agenda provides an opportunity for citizens to present issues that are not part of the regular agenda for the meeting. There is a five (5) minute time limit for each speaker. 1. Scheduled items: None at this time 2. Off-agenda items: None at this time *****Recommended Action: Provide comments/take appropriate action. STAFF PRESENTATIONS 3. Community Police Report Community Police Officers will give brief reports on District VI issues, problems and events. *****Recommended Action: Receive and file 4. Fire Department Report Fire Officers will give a brief report on District VI events. *****Recommended Action: Receive and file NEW BUSINESS 5. Aquatic Master Plan Karen Holmes, Park and Recreation Superintendant will present on enhancing the neighborhood aquatics centers to increase the number of users, which would make the facilities more financially viable. *****Recommended Action: It is recommended the District Advisory Board provide feedback.  Agenda 2 December 3, 2012 PLANNING 6. CON2012-00046 City Off-site Sign Special Review for an Off-site Sign within 300 feet of a residential structure in GC General Commercial (“GC”) zoning, generally located west of North Hoover and north of 9th Street North (1025 N. Hoover). *****Recommended Action: Based upon information available prior to the public hearings, planning staff recommends that the request be APPROVED, subject to the findings listed in the staff report. BOARD AGENDA 7. Problem Properties DAB Members are given the opportunity to identify and report problem properties throughout District VI. *****Recommended Action: Receive and propose appropriate action. 8. Neighborhood Reports DAB Members may report events/activities from the neighborhood/homeowners groups in their areas. *****Recommended Action: Receive and file. UPDATES FROM COUNCILMEMBER ANNOUNCEMENTS The next DAB VI meeting will be held on Wednesday, January16, 2013. ADJOURN
