Woodland 6:30 p.m. Lounge Clubroom ORDER OF BUSINESS -- Call to Order -- Approval of Agenda -- Approval of Minutes for November 4, 2013 PUBLIC AGENDA This portion of the agenda provides an opportunity for citizens to present issues that are not part of the regular agenda for the meeting. There is a five (5) minute time limit for each speaker. 1. Scheduled items: None at this time 2. Off-agenda items: None at this time *****Recommended Action: Provide comments/take appropriate action. STAFF PRESENTATIONS 3. Community Police Report Community Police Officers will give brief reports on District VI issues, problems and events. *****Recommended Action: Receive and file 4. Fire Department Report Fire Officers will give a brief report on District VI events. *****Recommended Action: Receive and file NEW BUSINESS 5. Officer Involved Administrative and Criminal Investigations This presentation will provide the DAB board with basic information on how administrative and criminal investigations are conducted when a Wichita Police employee is involved. *****Recommended Action: Receive and file ZONING 6. ZON2013-00033 City zone change from SF-5 Single-family Residential to TF-3 Two-family Residential generally located west of Edwards and north of 10th (1103 N. Edwards). Staff will present the case history and answer questions. *****Recommended Action: Based upon information available prior to the public hearings, planning staff recommends that the request be APPROVED based on the findings listed in the staff report. Agenda 2 December 2, 2013 7. CON2013-00034 City Conditional Use request to permit a detached accessory apartment in SF-5 Single-Family Residential zoning, generally located west of North High Street and north of West 11th Street North (1201 N. High) Staff will present the case history and answer questions. *****Recommended Action: Based upon information available prior to the public hearings, planning staff recommends that the request be APPROVED based on the conditions listed in the staff report. 8. 21st St Bridge near the old Derby Refinery The 2011-2020 Adopted Capital Improvement Program (CIP) includes funding for reconstruction of a bridge on 21st Street North between Mosley and New York (at Derby Refinery). Staff will present the case history and answer questions. *****Recommended Action: It is recommended that the District VI Advisory Board approve the design of the project. 9. MOVE2040 MOVE2040 is the region’s long range transportation plan, throughout our region. A slide show will be presented followed by Q&A and then collecting citizen input as to how we should allocate transportation funds for the next 25 years using an interactive budgeting game. *****Recommended Action: It is recommended that the District VI Advisory Board provide input. BOARD AGENDA 10. Problem Properties DAB Members are given the opportunity to identify and report problem properties throughout District VI. *****Recommended Action: Receive and propose appropriate action. 11. Neighborhood Reports DAB Members may report events/activities from the neighborhood/homeowners groups in their areas. *****Recommended Action: Receive and file.
