Woodland, Wichita KS 67204 6:30 p.m. Lounge Clubroom ORDER OF BUSINESS -- Call to Order -- Approval of Minutes for February 17, 2016 PUBLIC AGENDA This portion of the agenda provides an opportunity for citizens to present issues that are not part of the regular agenda for the meeting. There is a five minute time limit for each speaker. 1. Scheduled items: a. Chisholm Trail Parkway System Recommended Action: Provide comments/take appropriate action. 2. Off-agenda items: Recommended Action: Provide comments/take appropriate action. STAFF PRESENTATIONS 3. Fire Department Report Community Fire Officers will give a brief report on District VI issues, problems and events Recommended Action: Receive and file 4. Community Police Report Community Police Officers will give a brief report on District VI issues, problems and events. Recommended Action: Receive and file NEW BUSINESS 5. 2016 State of the City of Wichita Address Mayor Jeff Longwell delivers his first State of the City Address via a video presentation. Recommended Action: Receive and file 6. ZON2016-00009 Bill Longnecker Applicant/Agent City of Wichita c/o John Philbrick (applicant) has submitted a request for zoning change to Central Business District (CBD) for the purpose of establishing a catalyst development site. The proposed property is zoned Limited Industrial (LI), .11 acres in size and located West of Sycamore Street, north of West Douglas Avenue on the east side of Oak Street. Agenda 2 April 4, 2016 Recommended Action: Based upon information available prior to the public hearings, planning staff recommends that the request be approved. 7. ZON2016-00010 Jess McNeely Applicant/Agent Ray Dot Properties LLC (owner), IBREWCO, LLC d.b.a Aero Plains Brewing c/o Brent Miller (applicant), Jeff Davidson (agent) has requested a zoning change to Central Business District (CBD) for the purpose of establishing a micro-brewery with tasting room. The proposed site is zoned Limited Industrial (LI), .41 acres in size and is located on 117 N. Hadley. Recommended Action: Based upon information available prior to the public hearings, planning staff recommends that the request be approved subject to the property owner obtaining a minor street privilege for the paved eight parking spaces along the site’s north boundary. BOARD AGEND 8. Issues of Concern DAB members have the opportunity to ask questions regarding City topics and identify issues of concern to be addressed. Recommended Action: Receive and propose appropriate action. 9. Neighborhood Reports DAB members may report events/activities from the neighborhood/homeowners groups in their areas. Recommended Action: Receive and propose appropriate action. UPDATES FROM COUNCIL MEMBER The next DAB VI meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m., April 20, 2016, at the Evergreen Rec Center, 2700 N.
