City of Columbia, Missouri Meeting Minutes Citizens Police Review Board Wednesday, November 9, 2016 City Hall - Council Strategic Planning Subcommittee Meeting Chambers; 701 East 6:30 PM Broadway, Columbia, Missouri I. CALL TO ORDER Mr. Dean called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. II. INTRODUCTIONS Present: 5- Scott Dean, Val DeBrunce, Andrew Fisher, Alan Meyer and Jayne Woods Other Board Members Present: Mr. Sheltmire and Mr. Smith. Staff Present: Sgt. Tate, Brad Anderson, Mitch Baxley, and Ms. Wibbenmeyer. Members of the public were present. III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Agenda was distributed in advance of the meeting. No amendments were made. IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES DRAFT October 12, 2016 Strategic Planning Subcommittee Meeting Minutes Mr. DeBrunce moved to approve the draft minutes of the October 12, 2016 Strategic Planning Subcommittee meeting. Ms. Woods seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. V. NEW BUSINESS Discussion of the Strategic Plan The members of the subcommittee discussed their ideas for a strategic plan including policy review, use of force policy, liaison officers, and serious incident review board. Mr. Dean volunteered to type it up. VI. GENERAL COMMENTS BY PUBLIC, MEMBERS AND STAFF There was no public comment. VII. ADJOURNMENT At 6:54 p.m., Ms. Woods moved to adjourn the meeting.
