City of Columbia, Missouri Meeting Minutes Citizens Police Review Board Wednesday, October 12, 2016 City Hall - Council Strategic Planning Subcommittee Meeting Chambers; 701 East 6:00 PM Broadway, Columbia, Missouri I. CALL TO ORDER Mr. Dean called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. II. INTRODUCTIONS Present: 5- Scott Dean, Val DeBrunce, Andrew Fisher, Alan Meyer and Jayne Woods Other Board Members Present: Dr. Martin, Mr. Sheltmire, Mr. Smith, and Ms. Henson. Staff Present: Rose Wibbenmeyer. III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Agenda was distributed in advance of the meeting. No amendments were made. IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES DRAFT August 10, 2016 Strategic Planning Subcommittee Meeting Minutes Ms. Woods moved to approve the draft minutes of the August 10, 2016 Strategic Planning Subcommittee meeting. Mr. DeBrunce seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. V. OLD BUSINESS Discussion of the Subcommittee's Review of the Police Department's 21st Century Policing Report The members of the Subcommittee discussed their review of the police department’s 21st Century Policing Report. The members of the Subcommittee discussed ideas for their strategic plan and ideas for outreach. Mr. Dean volunteered to draft ideas to be sent out to the Subcommittee before the next meeting. VI. GENERAL COMMENTS BY PUBLIC, MEMBERS AND STAFF There was no public comment. VII. ADJOURNMENT Mr. Meyer moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Fisher seconded the motion.
