A motion offered by Councilmember Ortega, duly seconded by Councilmember López, that Council Resolution 18-0556 be approved for filing carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Kashmann, Ortega, Gilmore, Kniech, López, Brooks Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Espinoza Presentations 18-0639 Briefing: Curfew Program Commander Fountain described the City's Curfew Program and answered questions from Councilmembers. Committee members requested staff to write a letter requesting more data about the efficacy of the program, such as the relationship between curfew violations and subsequent involvement in the criminal justice system, violation expungement opportunities, and the over-representation of Hispanic youth from the west side. A motion offered by Councilmember Kashmann, duly seconded by Councilmember Ortega, that Council Resolution 18-0618 be approved by the consent of: Aye: 6- Kashmann, Ortega, Gilmore, Kniech, López, Brooks Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Espinoza 18-0626 Accepts $4,043,051 in HIV Emergency Relief Project grant funds for a new total of $7,616,463 to support health care and support services to people living with HIV (ENVHL-201840349-01). A motion offered by Councilmember Kashmann, duly seconded by Councilmember Ortega, that Council Bill 18-0635 be approved by consent of: Aye: 6- Kashmann, Ortega, Gilmore, Kniech, López, Brooks Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Espinoza 18-0636 Approves the Mayoral appointments of Claire Martin-Finley, Tony Smith, Henry Concha, and Michael Cortes to the Denver Commission on Aging for terms effective immediately and expiring 8-31-20.
