A motion offered by Councilmember Ortega, duly seconded by Councilmember López, that Council Resolution 18-0588 be approved for filing carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Kashmann, Ortega, Espinoza, Gilmore, Kniech, López, Brooks Nay: 0 18-0589 Amends Section 53-550 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (DRMC) to authorize the use of dedicated mill levy revenue to provide services to children up to age five with developmental delays and people seeking a developmental disabilities or delays determination and to increase the allowable administrative and overhead percentage to eighteen percent of total expenses through 2020. The following individuals provided public comment: Rob Hernandez,Maureen Welch, M Spangler, Peggy Berry, Pamela Bisceglia, and Lindsey Vigoda. Council Resolution 18-0642 was approved by consent. 18-0643 Approves a three-year $15 million on-call contract with Environmental Hazmat Services, Inc. to provide collection, packaging, management, transportation, and compliant disposal of regulated materials (hazardous and non-hazardous wastes) generated by City operations as well as role of emergency response to spills, abandoned hazardous wastes, and disposal of contaminated soils due to development projects (201842363). Council Resolution 18-0643 was approved by consent. 18-0644 Approves a $4.5 million on-call contract with Veolia ES Technical Solutions, LLC to provide collection, packaging, management, transportation, and compliant disposal of regulated materials (hazardous and non-hazardous wastes) generated by City operations as well as emergency response to spills, abandoned hazardous wastes, and disposal of contaminated soils due to development projects (201842468). Council Resolution 18-0644 was approved by consent. 18-0645 Approves a three-year $4.5 million on-call contract with Custom Environmental Services, Inc. to provide collection, packaging, management, transportation, and compliant disposal of regulated materials (hazardous and non-hazardous wastes) generated by City operations as well as emergency response to spills, abandoned hazardous wastes, and disposal of contaminated soils due to development projects (201842464). Council Resolution 18-0646 was approved by consent. 18-0648 Approves an 11-month no-cost extension of a contract with Russ Bassett Corporation through 4-30-19 to allow for post installation testing and confirmation of satisfactory installation of new console furniture equipment to support call-taking and dispatch activities at the new 911 communications center (SAFTY-201738094). Council Resolution 18-0648 was approved by consent. 18-0652 Adds six months and $667,787 to a grant agreement with the Colorado Health Network, doing business as Denver Colorado AIDS Project, for a 12-month term and a new total of $1,335,575 from its federal allocation of HUD/Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS (HOPWA) funds for direct program expenses and eligible supportive services (OEDEV:201839154-00). Council Resolution 18-0652 was approved by consent. 18-0653 Approves a $735,000 cash flow loan to Tammen Hall Apartments LLC to support the rehabilitation of 49 units of age- and income-restricted affordable housing at Tammen Hall located at 1010 E. 19th Avenue in Council District 9 (OEDEV-201736222-00). Council Resolution 18-0653 was approved by consent. 18-0654 Amends an existing $3.5 million cash flow loan to Sable Ridge Apartments LLC to define the percentage of available surplus cash required to be provided to the City as repayment of the loan in connection with the construction of a 60-unit affordable housing development for seniors known as Sable Ridge Apartments located at 4210 North Fraser Way in Council District 11 (OEDEV-201629086-01).
