The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Kashmann, Ortega, Gilmore, Kniech, López, New, Clark Nay: 0 19-0016 Approves a contract with Colorado Health Network Inc. for $1,414,306 and for one year for tenant based rental assistance, short term rent, mortgage and utility assistance, permanent housing placement and other supportive services for low-income people living with HIV/AIDS who need assistance with maintaining long-term, stable, permanent housing, citywide (OEDEV-201846917-00). Council Resolution 19-0016 was approved by consent 19-0017 Approves a contract with the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless for $566,000 and for one year for rental assistance and support services including employment assistance, disability benefits, mental health services and substance treatment for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless, citywide (OEDEV-201846924-00). Council Resolution 19-0018 was approved by consent 19-0019 Approves a contract with Northeast Denver Housing Center for $1,000,000 and for one year to administer the city’s Temporary Rent/Utility Assistance (TRUA) program to help prevent displacement by assisting low- and moderate-income residents experiencing a housing crisis to maintain stability while obtaining alternative housing by providing rental assistance, utility assistance and other services, citywide (OEDEV-201846925-00).
