19-0132 Approves a loan agreement with Colburn LLC for $3,450,000 and for
sixty-nine years to support the acquisition and rehabilitation of an existing
income-restricted property known as the Colburn Hotel to preserve 91 units
of housing for low-income residents, located at 980 Grant Street in Council
District 10 (OEDEV-201842018-00).
A motion offered by Councilmembers Ortega, duly seconded by Councilmember
New, that Council Resolution 19-0132 be approved for filing. The motion carried
by the following vote:
Aye: 5- Kashmann, Ortega, Gilmore, Kniech, New
Nay: 0
Absent: 1- López
19-0133 Approves the issuance and sale of up to $13,000,000 of City and County of
Denver, Colorado Multifamily Housing Revenue Notes (The Colburn
Project) Series 2019 and related documents for the purpose of financing
the acquisition, rehabilitation, improvement and equipping of a multifamily
residential rental housing development to be occupied by low- and
middle-income families and persons, located at 980 Grant Street in
Council District 10.
A motion offered by Councilmember Kashmann, duly seconded by
Councilmember New, that Council Bill 19-0133 be approved for filing. The motion
carried by the following vote:

19-0245 Approves an intergovernmental agreement with the Housing Authority of
the City and County of Denver, Colorado for $500,000 and for two years to
provide soft second mortgages of up to $25,000 to low-income
homeowners participating in the West Denver Single Family Plus program
to assist in the development of accessory dwelling units (ADUs) to serve as
an income-generation and anti-displacement tool in Council Districts 3, 7,
and 9 (OEDEV-201846549-00).
A motion offered by Councilmember Ortega, duly seconded by Councilmember
Kniech, that Council Bill 19-0245 be approved for filing. The motion carried by the
following vote:
