Call to Order
Chair Person Tandy called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. and introduced the
members and non-members of the Committee that were present. A quorum
was established.

Benson, that this Resolution be recommended for approval by the Metro
Council. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to

A motion was made by Council Member Scott, seconded by Council Member
Butler, that this Ordinance be untabled. Without objection the Ordinance was
Untabled.
CM Fleming explained his rationale for requesting a Financial Impact
Statement of this Ordinance.
John Sheller, Attorney, spoke against the legality of this Ordinance and
McKenzie Cantrell, Attorney, spoke in favor of this Ordinance.
Without objection the Ordinance was Tabled.
Chair Person Tandy stated the schedule for this Ordinance is as follows: After
Thanksgiving Break, This Ordinance will be discussed at the Committee
Meeting on Dec 4, 2014. Any amendments should be filed before the
December 4, 2014 Committee meeting. A vote is to be taken on the ordinance
at the December 4, 2014 Committee Meeting to send it to the full Council for a
vote on December 11, 2014.
