A quorum was established. R-267-14 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TWO (2) PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF W. MUHAMMAD ALI BOULEVARD, 30TH STREET AND W. MARKET STREET AND OWNED BY LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“METRO GOVERNMENT”) AS SURPLUS AND NOT NEEDED FOR A GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSE AND AUTHORIZING ITS TRANSFER. (Action Required By: December 2015) Sponsors:Marianne Butler (D-15) Attachments: 7-21-15 Requested Info- Trilogy Health Services, LLC The committee took a brief recess until a representative arrived to speak to the item. A motion was made by Vice Chair Benson, Seconded by Council Member Parker, that this Resolution be recommended for approval. Rebecca Fleischaker, Louisville Metro Department of Economic Development, spoke to the item. The motion carried by a voice vote and the Resolution was sent to the Consent Calendar. 3. O-148-15 AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT (JULY 1, 2014- JUNE 30, 2020) RELATING TO WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT BETWEEN THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AND LOUISVILLE PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION, LOCAL UNION 345, IAFF AFL-CIO-CLC FOR AND ON BEHALF OF MAJORS IN THE LOUISVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT. (Action Required By: January 2016) Sponsors:David Tandy (D-4) and Marianne Butler (D-15) Attachments: O-148-15 Bargaining Agreement A motion was made by Vice Chair Benson, seconded by Council Member Parker, that this Ordinance be recommended for approval. Daniel Frockt, Office of Management and Budget, spoke to the item. The motion carried by the following vote and the Ordinance was sent to the Consent Calendar: Yes: 4- Hollander, Butler, Parker, and Benson Absent: 1- James Adjournment Without objection the meeting adjourned at 4:18 p.m. *NOTE: Items sent to the Consent Calendar or Old Business will be heard before the Full Council at the Metro Council Meeting on July 30, 2015.
