A quorum was established. Rollcall Present: 3- Chair Person James Peden (R-23), Council Member David James (D-6), and Council Member Madonna Flood (D-24) Excused: 2- Vice Chair David Yates (D-25), and Council Member Kevin Kramer (R-11) Clerk Mary Whitlock, CKMC Pending Legislation ,48. O-450-14 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 123 OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT CODE OF ORDINANCES [LMCO] RELATING TO PAWNBROKERS. Sponsors: David James (D-6), James Peden (R-23) and Madonna Flood (D-24) A motion was made by Council Member James and seconded by Council Member Flood, that this Ordinance be recommended for approval CM James, Sponsor of the Ordinance, Major Robert Schroeder with the Louisville Metro Department of Police and Sarah Martin with the County Attorney's Office spoke to the item. CW Flood and Chair Person Peden requested to be Sponsors. By the following vote this Ordinance passed and was sent to the Consent Calendar: Yes: 3- Peden, James, and Flood Absent: 2- Yates, and Kramer Adjournment Without objection, Chair Person Peden adjourned the meeting at 3:40 p.m. *NOTE: Items sent to the Consent Calendar or Old Business will be heard before the Full Council at the Metro Council Meeting on September 25, 2014.
