Meeting called to order at 9:10 a.m.
2. Roll Call.

3. Review and Approval of the Previous Meeting Minutes from August 17, 2016.
Mr. Perceptions moved approval, seconded by Ms. Montgomery Baker, of the
meeting minutes from August 17, 2016. There were no objections from those
members present.

Review of Proposals and Presentations from Applicants:
-Rockford’s Blue Water Grill
-Reign Arts & Entertainment Facility
-Seafood & Lemonade
Individuals appearing:
Matt Haessly, Department of City Development
Amy Turim, Department of City Development
Mr. Haessly and Ms. Turim gave brief remarks. The previous advisory committee
meeting resulted in soliciting a questionnaire to the three invited proposers to
respond to, which they did. The three proposers are present to discuss their
questionnaire responses, provide additional information, and answer committee
questions.

Chair Hollmon said the committee should convene into closed session to hear from
each proposer separately in consideration of proprietary information.
The Bronzeville Advisory Committee may convene into closed session, pursuant to
s.19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public
properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public
business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. The
committee will then reconvene into open session for the remainder of the regular
agenda.
Mr. Perceptions moved that the committee convene into closed session, pursuant to

Recommendations
Ms. Montgomery Baker moved to recommend that the RFP for 2368 N. Martin L. King
Jr. Dr. be awarded to Rockford's Blue Water Grill contingent on acquisition of a liquor
license and compliance with ADA requirements. Upon failure to meet those
conditions, the RFP shall be rewarded to Reign Arts & Entertainment Facility subject
to their acceptance. Ms. Garrison seconded. There were no objections from those
members present.

No agenda items were discussed for the next meeting.
6. Set Next Meeting Date and Time.
Next meeting date and time was not set.

Limited parking for persons attending meetings in City Hall is available at reduced rates (5 hour limit)
at the Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of East Kilbourn and North Water Street. Parking
tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are
required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division. Registered lobbyists appearing
before a Common Council committee are required to identify themselves as such. More information is
