Perez, and Terry Witkowski Staff Assistant, Chris Lee, 286-2232; Fax: 286-3456, clee@milwaukee.gov Legislative Liaison, John Ledvina, 286-8637, jledvi@milwaukee.gov Friday, April 15, 2016 8:30 AM Common Council Chambers, 3rd Fl., City Hall Special Meeting convened at 8:59 a.m. Present 5 - Kovac, Coggs, Hamilton, Perez, Witkowski Individuals also present: Mark Nicolini, Budget & Management Director John Ledvina, Legislative Reference Bureau 1. 151736 Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a revised project agreement titled “State and Municipal Agreement for a State-Let Highway Project” with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the improvement of traffic signals on West Forest Home Avenue and South 27th Street at six Connecting Highway Intersections, with 90% State and Federal aid, under the Highway Safety Improvement Program; with an estimated total project cost of $1,089,350, which is an increase in construction cost of $134,450, of which the City’s share is $13,445 and the Grantor’s share is $121,005. Sponsors: THE CHAIR Individuals appearing: Chad Chrisbaum, Department of Public Works Joseph Blakeman, Department of Public Works Ald. Witkowski moved adoption of the file with the request that a report be presented back to the committee on the results of the agreement and project. (Prevailed 5-0) A motion was made by ALD. WITKOWSKI that this Resolution be RECOMMENDED FOR ADOPTION. Sponsors: THE CHAIR Individual appearing: Richard Li, Comptroller's Office A motion was made by ALD. HAMILTON that this Resolution be RECOMMENDED FOR ADOPTION. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye 5- Kovac, Coggs, Hamilton, Perez and Witkowski No 0 3. 151818 Substitute resolution relating to the Milwaukee Public Schools Career Plus Coordinators work-plan. Sponsors: Ald. Hamilton and Ald. Perez Individual appearing: Andrew Simons, Department of Public Works Ald. Perez added as a cosponsor. There was no objection. Ald. Hamilton moved to amend the file by accepting a revised memorandum of understanding in lieu of the original. (Prevailed 5-0) A motion was made by ALD. HAMILTON that this Resolution be AMENDED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye 5- Kovac, Coggs, Hamilton, Perez and Witkowski No 0 A motion was made by ALD. COGGS that this Resolution be RECOMMENDED FOR ADOPTION.
