APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA 1. R_12805 Approval of the enclosed minutes of the regular meeting held on August 10, 2016 Sponsors: THE CHAIR A motion was made by Ricardo Diaz, seconded by Lena Mitchell, that this Motion be APPROVED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye: 7- Witkowiak, Van Alstine, Wagner, Mitchell, Diaz, Reed Daniels, and Donald No: 0 Vice Chair Diaz requested R_12806 be moved out of Consent Agenda and into Reports and Discussion Items. B. REPORTS AND DISCUSSION ITEMS R_12806 Resolution approving an award of contract to Dakota Intertek Corporation (New Berlin, WI) for Hazardous Materials Abatement, Building Demolition, and Site Clearance at Westlawn Gardens Sponsors: THE CHAIR A motion was made by Ricardo Diaz, seconded by James N. Witkowiak, that this Housing Authority Resolution be ADOPTED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: City of Milwaukee Page 1 HOUSING AUTHORITY Meeting Minutes August 31, 2016 Aye: 7- Witkowiak, Van Alstine, Wagner, Mitchell, Diaz, Reed Daniels, and Donald No: 0 Adjournment There being no further business, Vice Chair Diaz made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:30a.m. Commissioner Witkowiak seconded the motion. There being no objections, the motion carried. Upon reasonable notice, efforts will be made to accommodate the needs of persons with disabilities through sign language interpreters or auxiliary aids. This award is contingent on demolition approval from HUD. B.
