R_12815 Fair Housing Presentation Sponsors: THE CHAIR Ms. Kori Schneider Peragine of the Fair Housing Council gave a brief presentation on handouts. . 2. R_12816 Report from the Secretary-Executive Director Sponsors: THE CHAIR Mr. Perez discussed the following items and made note of particular areas of interest for the Board: • An article from the Housing Affairs Letter entitled “HUD To Begin Padding Section 8 Vouchers” • An article from the Housing Affairs Letter entitled “Tarnished Voucher Concept Revived” • An article from the Housing Affairs Letter entitled “Disparate Impact Rulign A HUD Setback” • An article from the Housing Affairs Letter entitled “Two Counties Reject HUD AFFH Plan” • An article from the Housing Affairs Letter entitled “Hammod Meets Fair Housing Cudget” • An article from the Housing Affairs Letter entitled “Study Reinforces Rental Assistance Demo” • An article from the Housing Affairs Letter entitled “New Report Shows HUD in Shambles” Mr. Perez gave an update on the Housing Authority’s conversion to RAD on nine HACM-owned properties. The Housing Authority has issued General Information Notice (GIN) to residents informing them of upcoming meetings regarding the RAD process. City of Milwaukee Page 2 HOUSING AUTHORITY Meeting Minutes October 12, 2016 Adjournment There being no further business, Commissioner Van Alstine made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 2:30p.m. Commissioner Witkowiak seconded the motion.
