1. 161333 Motion relating to the recommendations of the Licenses Committee
relative to licenses.

Premises License Applications with 21+ Age Restriction Requesting Adult
Entertainment, 5 Amusement Machines, Bands, Dancing by Performers, Disc
Jockey, Instrumental Musicians, Jukebox, Patron Contests, and Patrons Dancing for
"Executive Lounge" at 730 N Old World Third St.
Appearing on behalf of the applicant:
Atty. Brian Randall stated that the group was willing to look at other locations, but no
suitable location was presented. He stated that the applicants met with the property
owner of 618 N Water St. in the past.

Craig Ploetz Head of Operations for PPH Properties LLC
Ald. Bauman
Beth Weirick (Downtown BID 21) stated that at the end of the last meeting they
provided alternative suggested locations and they received communication from the
applicants that the suggested locations did not meet their geographical boundaries.
She stated that Bid 21 was not able to find a property within the boundaries specified
by the applicants. The locations were not in the downtown boundaries.
Ald Zielinski moved approval. (Failed 2-2-1 , Alds. Coggs and Perez voting no, Ald.
Lewis abstaining)
Ald. Zielinski moved denial. (Prevailed 3-2, Alds. Rainey and Lewis voting no)
A motion was made by ALD. ZIELINSKI that this Motion be RECOMMENDED
FOR APPROVAL. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote:

results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a
quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that
committee’s realm of authority. In the event that a simultaneous meeting is occurring, no action
other than information gathering will be taken at the simultaneous meeting.
