Roll Call The meeting convened at 3:10 PM Individuals also present: Sally Witte, Department of City Development Present 5 - McSweeney, Morris, Murphy, Klose and Layden 2. Review and Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes Ms. Klose moved approval, seconded by Ms. McSweeney. There were no objections. 3. New Work Fund - Review of 2016 Process Ms. Morris discussed whether organizations should be applying for New Work funding, when they can apply for organizational grants or can they apply for both opportunities. Ms. Witte stated sometimes there are minimal applications for the New Work Fund so the Board may not want to limit organizations from applying for both, but some language can be added to the application to suggest that the Board may recommend only applying for one type of funding. - Potential Rule Changes Ms. Morris recommended that applicants who received funding should not apply again the year following the funding. There should be a one year waiting period. Ms. Witte suggested firmer language regarding in-kind support and a cash match. 4. Conservation Fund Ms. Morris stated she will remain in contact with the 5 Points Neighborhood Association regarding their application to help them maximize their project. 5. Old Business - Father Groppi Memorial Ms. Morris stated another meeting of the planning committee took place and discussion arose of turning the monument into a fair housing memorial. The next meeting will occur next month.
