1. Roll Call
The meeting convened at 3:10 PM
Ms. Layden joined the meeting at 3:16 PM

2. Review and Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes
Ms. McSweeney moved approval of the January minutes, seconded by Mr. Murphy.
There were no objections.
3. New Work Fund
- Updates on Projects
Ms. Morris stated she has been in touch with the Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail
and they will pour the bases for 5 sculptures in the spring or summer.
- Review New Proposals
The following applications were reviewed:
The Near Westside Partners for tiles by artist Laurie Gramling requesting $2,500.
The Clarke Square Neighborhood Initiative for a community mural by Isabel Castro
requesting $4,000.
The Riverwest Radio for projections by Dick Blau requesting $2,500.
The Still waters Collective for Soapbox by Dasha Kelly is requesting $10,000.
The applicants will be invited to come to the next meeting to present on their
proposals.
4. Conservation Fund
- Updates on Projects
There were no updates.
- Review New Proposals
The application from the Friends of Lake Park for the General Erastus B Wolcott
Statue.

Ms. Morris moved, seconded by Ms. McSweeney to fund at $1,000 the Lake Park
Friends for General Erastus B Wolcott Statue application. There were no objections.
Ms. Layden stated that the deadline should be revised to read that the deadline is the
first Tuesday of the month, to be considered at the next meeting.
5. New Business
There was no new business.
6. Old Business
Ms. Witte presented updated budget documents. There is currently $85,000 available.

meeting may also simultaneously constitute a meeting of the Common Council or any of the following
committees: Community and Economic Development, Finance and Personnel, Judiciary and Legislation,
Licenses, Public Safety, Public Works, Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development, and/or Steering and Rules.

Limited parking for persons attending meetings in City Hall is available at reduced rates (5 hour limit) at the
Milwaukee Center on the southwest corner of East Kilbourn and North Water Street. Parking tickets must be
validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are required to
register with the City Clerk's Office License Division. Registered lobbyists appearing before a Common
Council committee are required to identify themselves as such. More information is available at
