Recognition of employee the late Paul Novotny, responsible for maintaining streets
and bridges for 30 years. A plaque will be created and installed on the St. Paul
bridge. The event will include his family and City officials.

8. 160076 Resolution approving an Operating Agreement with Milwaukee
Marathon, Inc., for staging the second annual Milwaukee Running
Festival in the City of Milwaukee.
Sponsors: THE CHAIR and Ald. Bohl
Ald. Bauman has received many complaints regarding parking along the event route.
Assistant City Attorney Tom Miller stated DPW has 60 days to review the route and
plan for traffic, distruption to residents, parking, police resources, etc. The City has
not been made whole for the amount still owed for last year's event; $18,271 is still
owed to the Police Department.
Executive Director Chris Ponteri, Milwaukee Marathon, stated they will work closely
with churches so the event is not an inconvienence. He assured that the City will be
made whole for monies owed by July 15th, per the operating agreement.
Tom Woznick, DPW Parking stated a change to City Ordinance in being drafted to
allow DPW to move an illegally parked car to a legal parking place, to not have
affected individuals towed to the Tow Lot.
Ald. Bohl recommends communication and coordination with churches and residents
regarding alternate routes and parking. He suggested reaching out to news outlets
and information on the City's websites. He stated the police resources were on
overtime and the event pays the overtime rate for the police resources.
Sgt David Muehl, MPD stated 3/4 of the police resources were on overtime. 175
police employees were deployed to the event.

15. 160012 Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a
Revised Project Agreement titled ”State/Municipal Agreement for a
State-Let Local Bridge Project” between the City of Milwaukee and the
Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the reconstruction of the
North 51st Boulevard Bridge over the Lincoln Creek with 80 percent
Federal and State construction aid under the Local Bridge Replacement
and Rehabilitation Program and to provide 100 percent local funds for
the engineering costs.

16. 160116 Resolution relative to the cost participation and installation of traffic
control devices in conjunction with the Federal State Aid paving of West
Fond du Lac Avenue from West Capitol Drive to North 68th Street in the
2nd and 7th Aldermanic Districts at a total estimated cost of
$718,676.17, with one hundred percent of the total cost funded by the
Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

17. 160013 Resolution authorizing the City of Milwaukee to execute a Limited Term
Conservation Easement and a Permanent Sewer Easement between
the City of Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District
for parts of the property located at 1314 and 1311 East Chambers
Street, in the 3rd Aldermanic District.

18. 151671 Resolution authorizing the Director of the Milwaukee Public Library to
execute a Limited Term Conservation Easement between the City of
Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District requiring
the City to keep, preserve and maintain the green infrastructure at the
Tippecanoe Library located at 3912 South Howell Avenue, in the 13th
Aldermanic District.

19. 160084 Resolution naming the Commissioner of Public Works, the City
Engineer and the Water Works Superintendent as the authorized
representatives for the City of Milwaukee for the purpose of filing Clean
