Stamper Tom Miller and Calvin Furman - City Attorney's Office The City Attorney's Office would like an amendment that would clarify in the 3rd Further Resolved clause that the school will pay for the testing. The city would modify the schools' contracts to require the testing at all schools. Ald. Bohl moves to accept Proposed Sub A. There were no objections. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye 6- Hamilton, Johnson, Zielinski, Stamper, Bohl and Borkowski No 0 Excused 2- Coggs and Donovan The Steering and Rules Committee may convene into closed session at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, January 6, 2017 in Room 301-B, City Hall, 200 E. Wells St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, pursuant to s. 19.85(1)(g), Wis. Stats., for the purpose of conferring with the City Attorney who will render oral or written advice with respect to litigation in which the city is or is likely to become involved. Ald. Borkowski moved that the committee go into closed session. There were no objections. Ald. Zielinski excused from the closed session. Meeting adjourned: 5:18 P.M. Linda M. Whether a simultaneous meeting is occurring depends on whether the presence of one or more of the Common Council member results in a quorum of the Common Council or any of the above committees, and, if there is a quorum of another committee, whether any agenda items listed above involve matters within that committee’s realm of authority.
