Meeting convened at 2:30 p.m.
Present - Rute, Richardson, Mukamal, Medhin
Mr. Rute is present as a member, in place of Ronald Roberts, for the meeting.

1. 150448 A substitute ordinance relating to various code provisions for floodplain
overlay zones.

Mr. Richardson said that the proposed ordinance reflects recent flood insurance rate
maps and studies for portions of Waukesha and Washington Counties. Also, the
proposed ordinance revises sections related to nonconformities in floodplains. The
proposed ordinance is based on the model ordinance that was reviewed a year ago
by the committee and incorporates all of those provisions. The Department of
Natural Resources of Wisconsin is in approval of the proposed ordinance.
Atty. Mukamal moved that the proposed ordinance meets the standards of legality
and enforceability, consistency with the format of the zoning code, and administrative
efficiency. Mr. Richardson seconded. There were no objections.

take any formal action at this meeting.

tickets must be validated in the first floor Information Booth in City Hall.
Persons engaged in lobbying as defined in s. 305-43-4 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances are
required to register with the City Clerk's Office License Division. Registered lobbyists appearing
before a Common Council committee are required to identify themselves as such. More information is
