Sponsors: Ald. Murphy Individuals appearing: Vanessa Koster, Department of City Development Jason Van Acker, Wisconsin Lutheran College Chris Gallagher Brian Staude, Eppstein Uhen Architects Ald. Bauman moved to enter revised student housing and second floor layout renderings, submitted by Ms. Koster, into the record. There were no objections. A motion was made by ALD. MURPHY that this Ordinance be RECOMMENDED FOR PASSAGE. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye 3- Bohl, Murphy and Bauman No 0 Excused 2- Wade and Witkowski 2. 130286 A substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Two-Family Residential to Commercial Service, on land located the west side of North 36th Street and north of West Lisbon Avenue, to permit expansion of an existing business and create uniform zoning and the change in zoning from Commercial Service to Two-Family City of Milwaukee Page 1 ZONING, NEIGHBORHOODS & Meeting Minutes July 16, 2013 DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE Residential, on land located on the east side of North 35th Street and north of West Lisbon Avenue, to create uniform zoning, in the 15th Aldermanic District. Sponsors: Ald. Hines Jr. Individuals appearing: Vanessa Koster, Department of City Development David Misky, Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee President Willie Hines, 15th Aldermanic District Susan Hunter, Progressive Community Health Center Gina Spang, Milwaukee Public Schools Mr. Misky said that "west side of North 36th Street" should be corrected to "east side of North 36th Street" in the description. Ald. Wade moved to amend the title of the file to replace "West Lisbon Avenue" to "East Lisbon Avenue." (Prevailed 4-0) A motion was made by ALD. WADE that this Ordinance be AMENDED. This motion PREVAILED by the following vote: Aye 4- Bohl, Wade, Murphy and Bauman No 0 Excused 1- Witkowski 130286 A substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Two-Family Residential to Commercial Service, on land located the west side of North 36th Street and north of East Lisbon Avenue, to permit expansion of an existing business and create uniform zoning and the change in zoning from Commercial Service to Two-Family Residential, on land located on the east side of North 35th Street and north of East Lisbon Avenue, to create uniform zoning, in the 15th Aldermanic District. Sponsors: Ald. Hines Jr. President Hines and Mr. Misky both said that the resolution needed further corrections. Ald. Bohl said that corrections can be offerred through a substitution at the Common Council meeting. A motion was made by ALD. WADE that this Ordinance be RECOMMENDED FOR PASSAGE.
