Updates regarding Ongoing Projects: • We Are Moreland Hills Cookbook and Website Development –Betsy Larson and Andy Hippensteele • Orange Art Center Collaboration - Melissa Grannum – Activity for Orange Art Fest on 8/15/2026. • Newsletter/Social Media – Lori Urogdy Eiler. • Book Club Subcommittee – “Braiding Sweetgrass” Nicole Meli confirmed and will be held at the Orange Library which has been reserved for 10/22/2026. • We Are Moreland Hills - Date 9/19/2026. Frosty Gator will be the food truck. Line dancing from 1pm-2pm and/or Blue Cadillac 12-2pm? 5. Financial Report - $750.00 for Fiscal 2026 6. Cleveland Food Bank – We are reserved for 11/12/2026 from 6-8pm. We should formally begin letting people register at WRMH. 7. DEIB’s new student Commissioner is Isabelle Nicol who attends Laurel School 8. Open Discussion and Achievements • Emailed Dr. Khan on 6/5/26, she will be out of town until 6/30/26, at which time we will continue our conversation. • Discuss Orange Art Fest (8/15/26) – Approve new activity and information to provide (i.e. WRMH, Book clubs). • Sherri Arrietta provided me with list of new residents, since October 2025 – 29 new residents. • President Garfield’s grandson may assist in writing a letter. • Ted Friedman, Parks Commission, is seeking volunteers for – Head for the Hills (10/3/26 and we can promote DEIB) and Fall Fest (10/25/26 to volunteer and promote DEIB). • Others 9.
