City of Nashua Division of Public Health & Community Services 18 Mulberry Street, Nashua, NH 03060 BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING January 14, 2015 12:30 PM 18 Mulberry Street, 2nd floor Nashua, NH 03060 MEETING MINUTES BOH Members Present: Dr. Anthony Storace, Chair Dr. Thomas Astolfi Dr. Charles Cappetta Board members and Aldermanic Liaison, Lori Wilshire, were given an agenda, December minutes, and copies of the department reports. Meeting was called to order at 12:30 pm Minutes: Due to a technical problem with the email distribution of November’s minutes and reports that did not allow for the Board to receive and review the items prior to the meeting, Dr. Storace requested that the October and November minutes be approved at the January BOH meeting. Dr. Astolfi made a motion to accept October, 2014 minutes, Dr. Cappetta seconded the motion. Unanimous passage. Dr. Cappetta made a motion to accept the December 2014 minutes, Dr. Astolfi seconded. Unanimous passage. Reports Kerran provided an update on the proposed legislation for the City to purchase 11-13 Mulberry Street as the new location for a public health building. Lori is sponsoring the legislation. Dr. Storace requested that the Board be kept informed of the progress and expressed an interest in attending the Infrastructure Committee and Board of Alderman meetings to show support. Department Managers and Program Coordinators summarized their reports for the month of December, 2014. Heidi reviewed the draft Environmental Health document on Food Service Establishments Suspension and Revocation of licenses. The Board provided comment and would like Heidi to send them additional items (inspection form and food code). 1 Public Comments None Dr. Cappetta made a motion to adjourn. Dr. Astolfi seconded the motion. The Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 1:37 pm. The next meeting will be on February 11, 2015. 2
